Prayer flags up Rock Canyon
A week ago, my advanced studio class went with me up Rock Canyon park and we installed some prayer flags on the mountain side. I have been interested in Buddhist and Hindu religions for a long time; I have read many Vedas in trying to understand Eastern Philosophy and religion. One of the things which interests me is the connection between Tibetan religious life and so-called "Mormon" religious belief. Anniversary and Star's graduation
We don't know when our cat was born, she was a stray. But since her birth month was probably July or August, and our Anniversary is July 26th, we figured we would tell Star that her birthday was on the same day.
Since this year was her first birthday, we also made her a graduation ceremony (we're geeks, I know). She wore a gown and walked down our long hallway for us. This video was filmed when we were in Seattle.

Christmas Morning Video
We went to Austin for Christmas this year because we couldn't afford to go to Virginia, and it was nice to spend it with Grandma and Grandpa Nissen and Rebecca's sisters. We stayed for the two weeks in the Mariott hotel that Amy was managing. This video is from Christmas morning.
