We GOTTA get Paela's hair to match our own.

While we did stick Paela in a drawer, we SWEAR we didn't stick her in the dresser!

I was looking for some monkey images, when I came across this brilliant photographer Jill Greenberg. Her work would be my dream job. I want to find a way of working with monkeys. I just need to be around monkeys. Check the link to see all her amazing monkey portraits.

Today we had our first earthquake, measuring 5.6. It hit up in the eastern mountains, but it gave the art building a good shaking. I think that it broadsided the San Jose area, whereas Santa Clara didn't get the worst of it. Rebecca drove Paela downtown to be around me so we could be together for any aftershocks, but none have come yet. But everyone can know now that we're fine. Talk about a week of firsts for Paela!

We went down to the Ocean today. Paela had her first rainstorm, with lightning and thunder. It was a blistery afternoon.
