In a week and a half we've gone 700 miles. Why do we drive so much? Who knows. Wayne says it's an embarrassment. If you do the math, this is definitely not beyond the norm for us though. With his work 33 miles away and various errands 20 miles this way and that, it's easy to do. It is a shame it's so easy to drive so much.
And that's exactly what this week was: normal. I don't have anything really on my calendar that isn't normal. Paela's little "class", grocery shopping, the bike trail with Paela's bike, playing in the leaves, finding a place to dump the leaves (Bedford doesn't pick them up with the trash...who knew? Why did they take them last year for us? Nice of them to have done so, anyway!). Oh, Paela's friend Alice and her older sister came over. That was fun. So I got to have a visit too. Thank goodness for friends willing to work around my work schedule.
Aderyn has another cold. Sleep is even more elusive (at night) than normal. Sigh. Also, she got her first tooth. The two are unrelated.
The Primary presentation was today at Church. The only treasure I saw was the little 4-year old that threw his shoe at someone sitting on the front row. The rest was cuteness and wrangling the 7-year old seat-bouncers in my class. Much better than the practice last week led me to expect (when two of said 7-year olds tackled the girls because they misunderstood who was supposed to follow who. They were sitting in order! And another had an outburst because a leader took his paper he was folding and refolding away. Thankfully the actual presentation is half as long as the practice.).
And that's all folks. We'll see where another 700 miles takes us next time.
